1 Logical Single – Potential lone early speed breaking from the advantageous rail; catch this mare to win.

6 Mia Isabel – Was claimed for this $40K price tag so a free roll for Doug O’Neill; value comes from Garrett Gomez off.

Long Shot – 2 Elegant

Race 3 – 6 1/2 furlongs, Purse $37,000, Claiming $40,000, 2-year-olds

6 Rubysandpearls – If you read my comments, you know how much I like Calder shippers; first start in Peter Miller barn.

7 Sacred Ovation – Paper thin win in last, now facing winners for the first time; claimed by Peter Miller, an uncoupled entry.

7 Mary Fildes – Pick 6 C/O of $110K starts right here with the toughest race on the card; 7 in, 7 can win this race.

3 Ricspretentiousgal – Speedy sort can lead or follow close up; another tough test in this difficult pick 6 sequence.

Long Shot – 2 Demonsterous

Race 5 – 6 furlongs, Purse $45,000, Maiden special weights, Cal-breds, Fillies, 2-year-olds

4 Sophie’s Secret – Twice beaten favorite is knocking on the door; flattered when Home Journey won her next time out.

9 Include the Baby – Claimed by Mike Mitchell, one of the best betting angles in SoCal; son-in-law Julien Leparoux up.

5 True Expectations – Chalk won first off the claim by Doug O’Neill; he’s playing poker by dropping her one notch in class.

6 Salah Champ – Nearly overcame a poor start to get the money; did a fine job for second, good start makes the task easier.

5 Bank the Eight – Bob Baffert has 4 horses, uncoupled, in here; huge win last time showed potential brilliance.

6 Comma to the Top – One thing he has going for him is a love of Betfair Hollywood Park; can upset on his best effort.
