Race 1 – 6 furlongs (turf), Purse $34,000, Claiming $32,000, Fillies, 3-year-olds
5 Tasty Treat – Speedy sort figures to play catch me if you can; Rafael Bejarano should just leave aggressively.
6 Your Special Day – Second start off the claim by Dan Hendricks; drops in class, expect improvement.
Long Shot – 7 Addendum
Race 2 – 6 furlongs, Purse $22,000, Maiden claiming $30,000, 2-year-olds
5 Got Heem – Sliding down the maiden claiming ladder to this career low class; Mike Mitchell adding blinkers on.
12 Monterey Tale – Parking lot post in this bulky field; like the big rider switch to Rafael Bejarano for the money shot.
Long Shot – 10 Wild Tony
Race 3 – 1 1/8th miles (turf), Purse $48,000, Optional claiming $40,000, 3-year-olds and up
7 Te Rapa – Better than looked finish last time; should benefit from a switch to local top rider Joe Talamo.
5 Porfido – Old timer won a gritty race in last; at age 10, it’s harder for him to run back to back, but the pace scenario is good.
Long Shot – 9 Swift Eagle
Race 4 – 1 1/16th miles, Purse $48,000, Optional claiming $40,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up
3 Eblouissante – Her names means “dazzling” in French; her debut win was all of that as she has some of Zenyatta’s natural talent.
4 Include the Cat – Claimed by Julio Canani and spotted nicely in a normal sense; who would have thought Eblouissante would start.
Long Shot – 1 Glowing Spirit
Race 5 – 6 furlongs (turf), Purse $45,000, Maiden special weights, Fillies, 2-year-olds
10 Iconic Spirit – Was rolling well late in a green debut; John Sadler babies typically improve with experience.

Long Shot – 4 Nicegirlsfnishlast
Race 6 – 6 furlongs, Purse $18,000, Claiming $16,000, 3-year-olds and up
13 Tiz Dynamic – Alex Bisono has quietly done well with limited chances; speed and a parking lot post, must clear early.
1 Crown Over – Expect him to sit a trip inside and rally late; could be the toughest race on today’s card.
Long Shot – 9 Axle
Race 7 – 1 1/2 miles (turf), $250,000 Hollywood Turf Cup, 3-year-olds and up
4 Grandeur – His win in the Twilight Derby is still a replay worth watching; has an incredible late kick.
6 Grassy – Not often can a horse in a marathon race be cutting back in distance; this is a real gallopers race.
Long Shot – 3 Slim Shadey
Race 8 – 6 furlongs, Purse $45,000, Maiden special weights, 2-year-olds
6 Battled – Bob Baffert has an uncoupled entry so caveat emptor; this one has been working jet streams in the a.m.
12 Tiz the Truth – This is the other Baffert with Martin Garcia up; how many times has the longer odds Baffert horse won?
Long Shot – 9 Let Em Shine
Race 9 – 1 1/16th miles, $750,000 CashCall Futurity, 2-year-olds
6 Violence – New York invader from the Todd Pletcher barn; won the Nashua in last without knowing what he was doing, still green.
9 Title Contender – Highly regarded colt was sent on a suicide mission in the Breeders’ Cup; he only ran about 6 furlongs though.
Long Shot – 1 He’s Had Enough
Race 10 – 6 1/2 furlongs, Purse $18,000, Maiden claiming $20,000, 3-year-olds and up
4 Wild Side Story – Was flattered when My Slew won next time out; need not be much facing a suspect group.
2 Bandini’s Rogue – Ran like a horse in need of a race last time; second start off a 9-month hiatus, expect improvement.
Long Shot – 12 Bull Time
Best Bet – 3 Eblouissante (race 4)
