4 Little Bit Cactus – Jeff Mullins with a ship and win horse; blinkers on and the key vote from Rafael Bejarano.
1 Cravin’ the Heat – Ran like a short horse in last; dropped down for a price tag, expect the full monty in this effort.
Long Shot – 3 Miracle Merger
Race 3 – 1 mile, Purse $43,000, Starter allowance $40,000, 3-year-olds and up
5 Spring Up – Claimed by John Sadler, one hot barn of late; won well from post 11, moves in, facing winners for the first time.
6 Awesome Address – Another facing winners for the first time; remember that John Shirreffs has his best horses in New York.
Long Shot – 2 Solid South
Race 4 – 1 mile, Purse $24,000, Claiming $16,000, 3-year-olds and up
2 Hurry Home Clover – Claimed by Bill Spawr, one unsung claiming trainer; is spotted correctly to win first time out.
10 Jay’s Firetruck – Has finished in the money in 9-of-10 starts in last year; from John Sadler, may get over the hump today.
