Race 2 – 6 furlongs, Purse $28,000, Claiming $12,500, 3-year-olds and up

8 Half Dome Dude – Has a proven track record over Del Mar synthetics; claimed by Bob Hess with the express purpose of running here.

10 Gal Has to Like It – He won his only start over Del Mar synthetics; been productive for Alfredo Marquez in cashing paychecks.

Long Shot – 9 Southern Sunrise

Race 3 – 1 mile (turf, rail at 6 feet), Purse $53,000, Claiming $40,000, 3-year-olds

10 Hobbits Hero – Jeff Mullins barn is waking up from a lengthy snore; has won three turf races since being claimed for $32K.

1 Contributor – A nice ship and win spot for this Arlington Park invador; from the top Tom Proctor barn with Drayden Van Dyke up.

Long Shot – 5 Clever Royal

Race 4 – 5 1/2 furlongs, Purse $38,000, Maiden claiming $50,000, Cal-breds, 2-year-olds

10 Mikes Lion – Taking the biggest class drop in racing from MSW to maiden claiming; like runners coming out of Steve Miyadi’s barn.

Long Shot – 4 Heat Du Jour

Race 6 – 5 furlongs (turf, rail at 6 feet), Purse $77,000, Optional claiming $40,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up

8 Intoxicating Move – Claimed by Philip D’Amato in advance of this meet; been freshened and trained to the minute for return.

5 Al Freej – Ship and win candidate has been working steadily for Mike Pender; Euro has sod and synthetics resumes to back her up.

Long Shot – 7 Tarn

Race 7 – 1 1/2 miles, $100,000 Cougar II Handicap, 3-year-olds and up

9 Soi Phet – Exits a career best race in winning the Bertrando; has even better form on synthetics, co-owned by Las Vegas residents too.

8 Sky Kingdom – Logical chalk from the Bob Baffert barn; well managed to win nearly $400K by avoiding most of the grade 1 heavy hitters.

Long Shot – 4 Old Time Hockey

Race 8 – 6 furlongs, Purse $75,000, Maiden special weights, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up

5 Everlovin Woman – Suspect you’ll get all of 6/1 with her due to low percentage barn; she ran well in debut and could improve a step.

2 Sam’s Sister – Your edge over me will be in seeing the betting on the FTS; expect Hollendorfer and Baffert babies to get played.
