4 Falcon Rock – Good third in the grade 1 Hollywood Turf Cup; the horses in front of him would be 3/5 in this field.

2 Dynamic Host – Tepid chalk was 40-1 in only stakes try in the Hirsch; he faces others with stronger resumes than him.

Long Shot – 6 Slim Shadey

Race 3 – 6 1/2 furlongs, Purse $32,000, Claiming $25,000, 4-year-olds

5 Cat in the Forest – Claimed by Bob Hess and spotted nicely to win first out; proven commodity at this $25K class.

3 Palio Prince – Suspect can sit a trip just off the pace and grind late; horses just run for Chantal Sutherland.

Long Shot – 1 Deluxe Bus

Race 4 – 6 1/2 furlongs, Purse $56,000, Maiden special weights, Fillies, 3-year-olds

3 Flashy Dame – Was flattered when both Reneesgotzip and Eden’s Moon won easily next out; should be her turn tonight.

6 Nihilist – Faced a good group at Del Mar including Customer Base who won next out; watch the tote board for clues.

8 Sassy and Single – Typical green debut, slow early, fast late; sire Singletary won the BC Mile so distance is no problem.

7 Spring Bloom – Another filly who looks like she wants more distance; beaten favorite in last figures to improve.

6 Forest Souvenir – Speedball gets a big rider switch to Rafael Bejarano for the money shot; doubt if he can take him back.

8 Put It There – Chased two Bob Baffert colts last time out; he chased Discreet Dancer at Gulfstream, then was privately sold.

Race 7 – 1 mile (turf, rail at 15 feet), Purse $40,000, Claiming $40,000, 4-year-olds and up

6 Golden Mexico – Speedball will relish the turf rail out 15 feet; Joel Rosario had choices and opted to ride for John Sadler.

10 Muny – Mike Mitchell’s only starter of the day; parking lot post but Joe Talamo should be able to carve out a trip.
