6 Hey I’m Sobaa – Garrett Gomez is off for 1 to 2 months due to a broken heel; taking a huge class drop from MSW to maiden claiming.
7 To the Top – Mike Mitchell is never a throwout in any SoCal race; beaten favorite is liable to improve a lot tonight.
Long Shot – 5 Subtle Greek
Race 2 – 1 1/16th miles, Purse $58,000, Allowance, 3-year-olds
4 Sky Kingdom – Ran well when fourth in the Cash Call Futurity; this is class relief, a confidence booster for future stakes.
2 Sir Allison – Bob Baffert had to enter him to make sure the race filled; well see if he runs or scratches due to Sky Kingdom.
Long Shot – 5 Spirit Rules
Race 3 – 6 1/2 furlongs (turf, rail at 24 feet), Purse $56,000, Maiden special weight, Fillies and mares, 4-year-olds and up
3 Jaredella – Been away since May but showed lots of ability; tries turf for the first time, but has that Tapit blood in her.
4 Stormy Slew – Solid third in last, now switches to Rafael Bejarano for the money shot; tactical speed to sit a nice trip.
Long Shot – 8 Shoo Gee
Race 4 – 5 1/2 furlongs, Purse $19,000, Maiden claiming $20,000, Fillies and mares, 4-year-olds and up

Race 5 – 1 mile (turf, rail at 24 feet), Purse $26,000, Claiming $25,000, 4-year-olds and up
1 Syncobeat – Like the ground saving post going a mile on grass; tactical speed is an asset with the turf rail out 24 feet.

Long Shot – 2 Personalitary
Race 6 – 1 1/16th miles, Purse $60,000, Optional claiming $62,500, 4-year-olds and up
6 Smart Spending – Well rested 5-YO has only made 5 career starts; has a ton of ability while handled like fine china.
3 Megastar – Exits a fast nose win last out; the main question is how he reacts off a big victory, repeat race would beat these.
Long Shot – 5 Thirtyfirststreet
Race 7 – 1 1/4 miles (turf, rail at 24 feet), Purse $58,000, Optional claiming $40,000, 4-year-olds and up
1 Antidote – 6-for-8 in the money on grass; he’s no win machine, but will save ground all the way around and fight on late.
2 Renegade Storm – Dead late closer can’t get up going a mile; today he goes a marathon distance so he’ll run out of excuses.
Long Shot – 6 Wrongful Suit
Race 8 – 5 1/2 furlongs, Purse $19,000, Claiming $10,000, 4-year-olds and up
3 Lt. Hopeful – Leap of faith that on the class drop there is something left; red flag move even for Mike Mitchell.
