Race 2 – 1 mile, Purse $26,000, Claiming $20,000, 4-year-olds and up
1 Joe Carl – Claimed by Bob Hess and spotted nicely to win first out; this 7-YO likes SA too.
2 Scorpion Time – Gutsy win in last and appears capable of repeating; tactical speed to sit a good trip.
Long Shot – 5 Unexpected Gift
Race 3 – 7 furlongs, Purse $31,000, Maiden claiming $50,000, Cal-breds, 3-year-olds
9 Judge Carr – Like a parking lot post in an elongated sprint; can eyeball the inside speed with a long run to the first turn.
2 Alydidit – Taking the biggest class drop in racing from MSW to maiden claiming; facing a real weak group.
Long Shot – 4 Through My Eyes
Race 4 – 1 mile (turf, rail at 15 feet), Purse $35,000, Claiming $32,000, Fillies and mares, 4-year-olds and up
4 Elegant – Suspect Jerry Hollendorfer is set to have an excellent meet; Rafael Bejarano is riding first call for him.
9 Van Brit – Has won two straight and can make it three; must carve out a trip from a parking lot post.

6 Winds of Dubai – Dead late closer has been a little slow to get going; huge class drop may remedy that.
11 Pride of Silver – Has run only twice on turf, but one finish was a good second; another taking a big class drop.

5 Hidethegoodstuff – More Jerry Hollendorfer, FTs with Rafael Bejarano up; watch the tote board for clues.
4 Spring Gal – Exits a bullet work for this debut; Tyler Baze is one of the best gate jockeys in SoCal.
Long Shot – 10 Good Party

10 Sky High Gal – Churchill Downs shipper has looked good on turf; this will be her test for class.
