Race 2 – 6 furlongs, Purse $36,000, Maiden claiming $50,000, 2-year-olds

7 Londinium – Taking the biggest class drop in racing from MSW to maiden claiming; keep an eye on a bunch of FTS.

8 Bubba Fizz – Mike Mitchell has had a good, but not great, Del Mar meet; his biggest victory will be in beating cancer.

Long Shot – 9 Disarm

Race 3 – 5 1/2 furlongs, Purse $30,000, Claiming $25,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up

4 Pink Blanket – Must repeat a monster graduation victory; main surprise is she is not protected today, you can buy her for $25K.

6 Lanida – Was flattered when Winding Way won her next out; taking a huge class drop for Mike Pupye, big upset chance.

Long Shot – 7 Budidinha

Race 4 – 5 1/2 furlongs, Purse $25,000, Maiden claiming $20,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up

13 Jammin Lady Louli – Taking the biggest class drop in racing from MSW to maiden claiming; must overcome a parking lot post.

9 Nifty Dream – Favorite has had 10 chances already, many at this bottom class rung; the added losing experience can be a negative.

3 Mine Fever – Flattered when Monument won next time out; Peter Miller adding blinkers on for this.

7 Our Trooper – Huge rider switch to P Val for the money shot; he hasn’t gotten many live mounts this meet so he should be hungry.

Long Shot – 9 Silver Lightning

5 K Js Maddog – Jeff Mullins drops him way down in class; key vote comes from Rafael Bejarano remaining loyal to the cause.

6 Panettone – Tepid chalk had a big excuse in last; was unprepared for the start, but came running in the lane.

Long Shot – 10 Oskar Hval

Race 8 – 1 1/16th miles (turf, rail at 14 feet), Purse $78,000, Optional claiming $100,000, 3-year-olds and up

6 Polytechnicien – Richard Mandella quietly has had a strong meet with 5-of-16 wins; French import gets first time Lasix too.

1 Lucky Primo – Has speed and the rail, two major assets with the turf rail out 14 feet; catch him to win.

Long Shot – 2 Grassy

Race 9 – 1 mile, Purse $25,000, Maiden claiming $20,000, 3-year-olds and up

1 Sedona Ridge – Saul Arias only rides huge long shots so this is a pleasant surprise for him; saves ground and comes grinding late.

12 Anabaa Premium – Has a huge chance but must draw in off the also eligible list; dropping in class drom $50K to $20K.
