8 Divas and Diamonds – Sliding down the maiden claiming ladder to this career low class; hindered by a slow start in last.

Long Shot – 9 Gypsy Kitty

Race 2 – 1 mile (turf, rail at 14 feet), Purse $50,000, Claiming $40,000, Fillies and mares, 4-year-olds and up

2 Van Brit – Has won 10-of-20 turf starts, an astounding record; this may be the top of his class rung, but he is a very hard tryer.

4 Skinny Genes – Was overmatched in last in a difficult allowance race; this class relief and her solid turf resume fit.

Long Shot – 1 Bonita Star

Race 3 – 7 furlongs, Purse $32,000, Maiden claiming $40,000, 2-year-olds

2 Ukraine James – Flattered when Den’s Legacy won next time out; Leandro Mora, subbing for Doug O’Neill, adding blinkers on.

4 I Don’t Care Who – Was flattered when No Rachmones won next out; price tag today is cut in half from $80K to $40K.

Long Shot – 1 Bacardi Cat Run

Race 4 – 6 furlongs, Purse $24,000, Claiming $16,000, 3-year-olds and up

8 Big Business – Like the cutback in distance from a 2-turn mile to sprint; sliding down a notch in class can only help.

3 Gregor – Strong run in last first off the claim by Caesar Dominguez; has enough back class to repeat or improve a step.

Long Shot – 4 You’re Joking

Race 5 – 6 furlongs, Purse $70,000, Maiden special weights, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up

12 Princess Ash – Twice beaten favorite gets a vote of confidence from Rafael Bejarano; tactical speed to sit a trip.

1 Elusive Jackpot – Bob Baffert has an uncoupled entry so caveat emptor; beaten chalk in debut did a classic pop and stop finish.

Long Shot – 6 Point Cadet

Race 6 – 1 mile (turf, rail at 14 feet), Purse $71,000, Optional claiming $25,000, Cal-breds, 3-year-olds and up

9 Huntsville – Reclaimed by Barry Abrams, one of the best trainer angles in racing; appears to like Del Mar grass.

5 Cat Meeting – Tepid chalk in a wide open affair; sharp MSW win, he appears capable of improving and winning again.

Long Shot – 7 Warrens Wild Thing

Race 7 – 6 furlongs, $150,000 Generous Portion, Cal-breds, Fillies, 2-year-olds

7 Tilde – He may not want to go far, but sprinting he is rather quick; this should be a tactical jockey race of cat and mouse.

5 Tribal Gal – Improved by leaps and bounds in second career start; she moved forward so much, there may be a question of bounce.

Long Shot – 1 Bert’s Altarcation

Race 8 – 5 1/2 furlongs, Purse $25,000, Maiden claiming $20,000, 3-year-olds and up

1 Mary Helen’s Storm – Sliding down the maiden claiming ladder to this bottom rung; can improve in second start off a 4-month hiatus.

8 Light Up – Suspicious Bob Baffert FTS; he cost $400K at Keeneland and debuts here for a $20K price tag.
