1 Tripped the Light – Second best in this condition last time; can improve in return to synthetics in Inglewood.

5 Monica C C – Interesting claim by Bill Spawr; has a strong resume on synthetics so can be useful at Del Mar too.

Long Shot – 2 Jana Gail

5 Distant Glow – Showed big improvement graduating first out for Mike Pupye; her future appears to be on the greensward.

2 Caitie’s Secret – Been away since August at Del Mar; her grass races appear stronger than her synthetic resume.

Long Shot – 6 Streamline Baby

Race 3 – 4 1/2 furlongs, Purse $27,000, Maiden claiming $40,000, Fillies, 2-year-olds

4 Joseph Joe – Walther Solis points to baby racing for a lot of victories; hires the main man Joel Rosario.

Long Shot – 9 Kvell

Race 4 – 1 1/16th miles, Purse $35,000, Starter allowance $40,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up

1 Lilly’s Perfect – Slight edge in a harder-than-looks race; inside post at this distance is a solid advantage.

Long Shot – 2 Lemon Drop Ridge

Race 5 – 1 1/16th miles, Purse $50,000, Maiden special weights, 3-year-olds and up

4 Cook Inlet – No shame losing by 10 lengths to The Factor; been training up a storm since, clearly the one to beat.

8 Foreboding – Twice-beaten favorite at Golden Gate; returns to his home track exiting some bullet workouts.

Long Shot – 9 Britt’s Brother

Race 6 – 5 1/2 furlongs, Purse $26,000, Claiming $16,000, 3-year-olds and up

1 Joyful Success – Corker win off an 8-month hiatus; the key is if he’ll repeat his race or will he bounce second time out.

Long Shot – 5 Ribald

Race 7 – 1 mile (turf, rail at 15 feet), Purse $52,000, Optional claiming $80,000, 3-year-olds and up

4 Akkadian – Still waiting for this talented colt to run a break through race; exits a bullet work, Joel Rosario takes over.

5 Cloud Man – John Shirreffs babies rarely win first time; this colt could have a very high ceiling with improvement.

Race 8 – 6 furlongs, Purse $27,000, Maiden claiming $40,000, Cal-breds, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up

Best Bet – 12 Bila Shaka (race 8)
