Long Shot – 2 Miss Bold Topper

Race 2 – 1 mile (turf, rail at 8 feet), Purse $35,000, Claiming $32,000, 3-year-olds and up

6 Matto Mondo – Gets class relief from New Mexico stakes for this; returns to his preferred surface, grass.

4 Violon Sacre – Another get big class relief to face a much softer group; expect Garrett Gomez to have a big meet.

Long Shot – 7 Crossing The Line

Race 3 – 6 furlongs, Purse $56,000, Maiden special weights, Fillies, 2-year-olds

4 Princess Arabella – FTS from Bob Baffert has been working lights out; watch the tote board for clues.

3 Love My Way – Speedball exits a good turf sprint try; will play catch me if you can.

Long Shot – 5 Lobshot

Race 4 – 7 furlongs, Purse $40,000, Claiming $40,000, 2-year-olds

6 Call Me Kelly – Sharp maiden claiming win, now is spotted nicely to face winners; first two starts were in stakes.

9 Bwana Be Gone – First time Mike Mitchell for this Woodbine invader; watch the tote board for activity.

Long Shot – 7 Plenny of Henny

8 Chickie Charms – Flattered when Our Boy Benjamin won next out; big rider switch to Rafael Bejarano for the money shot.

7 Late Night Sky – Speedball turns back in distance for this hillside sprint; suspect can settle if asked to.

Long Shot – 9 Unusual Heatwave

7 Quintons Destiny – Sliding down the claiming ladder for Mike Mitchell; red flag for most, winners for Mitchell.

10 Boychik – Been away 14 months, but returns first time for a price tag; has plenty of speed to chase.

Long Shot – 9 Gothics Peak

8 Daddy Nose Best – Steve Asmussen has sent some good runners out west; colt has outrun his modest $35K sales price.

4 Champions Gate – His first turf try was a good one; now stretches out in distance and will be a square price.

2 Turbulent Descent – Given two months off since a disappointing BC try; she is the queen out west, clearly the one to beat.

1 Home Sweet Aspen – Draw a line thru her last turf race and her resume looks fine; this is her biggest class test yet.

Long Shot – 3 May Day Rose

Race 9 – 6 furlongs, Purse $60,000, Optional claiming $62,500, 3-year-olds and up

1 Leaving New York – Been away 8-months, but returns in an upset spot; solid closer in a race jammed with early speed.

3 Capital Account – Bob Baffert can win a few races if things go his way; returning off a 9-month hiatus.
