Race 1 – 1 1/16th miles, Purse $23,000, Maiden claiming $30,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up
2 Long Legged Lovely – Frustrating 6-of-8 in the money without graduating; she may be an example of herd mentality.
1 Pegastorm – Was overmatched in last, now returns with a reasonable price tag; may be the speed in a paceless race.
Long Shot – 6 Southern Strike
Race 2 – 6 1/2 furlongs (turf, rail at 15 feet), Purse $38,000, Claiming $40,000, 3-year-olds and up
7 Dapper Gene – Dead-late closer exiting two wins in a row; figures to see a quick pace to rally into.
4 A Lil Dumaani – Cashed four paychecks for Peter Miller off the claim; he takes the blinkers off and adds Garrett Gomez.
Long Shot – 9 Stoneside
Race 3 – 1 1/8th miles, Purse $16,000, Claiming $12,500, 3-year-olds and up
4 Dontmesroundwitjim – Claimed by Mike Mitchell, reason enough to like him; dropped in class off the claim.
8 Candy for Paseana – Was a big winner over dirt in last, albeit facing easier at Turf Paradise; key vote is from Rafael Bejarano.
Long Shot – 5 Southern Victory
Race 4 – 1 mile (turf, rail at 15 feet), $75,000 Blue Norther, Fillies, 2-year-olds
2 Tales in Excess – Speedy sort will enjoy the turf rail out 15 feet; is well bred for a mile and for the grass.
3 True Way of Grace – Big rider switch to Garrett Gomez for the money shot; dead-late closer will be coming late.
Long Shot – 4 Wave of Applause
Race 5 – 6 furlongs, Purse $38,000, Claiming $40,000, 3-year-olds and up
7 Sea Rascal – Has had success in two prior dirt starts; has tactical speed to sit a perfect trip.

Long Shot – 5 Italian Rules
Race 6 – 6 furlongs, Purse $54,000, Maiden special weights, Fillies, 2-year-olds
6 Rumor – You’ll have a big edge over me in seeing the tote board action; well bred FTS from Richard Mandella barn.
5 Magicallytown – Figures to be overlooked from the Neil French barn; is bred to be quick and gets P Val to ride.
Long Shot – 3 Bauble Queen
Race 7 – 6 furlongs, Purse $56,000, Optional claiming $40,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up
8 Separate Forest – Heavily favored in all 3 career starts for Richard Mandella; odd that Joel Rosario is taking off.
2 Angels’ Share – Woodbine shipper has dirt experience, 7-of-10 in the money; Steve Asmussen barn will start winning soon.
Long Shot – 10 Summer Games
Race 8 – 1 mile (turf, rail at 15 feet), $75,000 Eddie Logan, 2-year-olds
1 Robie the Cat – Powerful looking entry from Richard Mandella; this colt exploded on grass in graduating last time.

Long Shot – 3 Moment of Weakness
Race 9 – 6 furlongs, Purse $27,000, Maiden claiming $40,000, Cal-breds, Fillies, 2-year-olds
2 Taptap I’mgone – Suspect P Val will take the bull by the horns; expect him to send hard, catch her if you can.
13 Benicia Beauty – Outran her 50/1 odds in debut when fourth; broke slow in debut, that’ll be half the battle today.
Long Shot – 10 Conflicted Traits
