Race 2 – 5 1/2 furlongs, Purse $16,000, Claiming $8,000, 4-year-olds and up

5 Purse Luva – Sliding down the claiming ladder to this bottom rung; just missed in last, a repeat race can be good enough.

6 Lemon – Nearly ran a career best last time in a major wake-up call; pay to see if he has found the fountain of youth.

Long Shot – 3 A Cat Named Snipe

Race 3 – 1 mile (turf, rail at 15 feet), Purse $31,000, Maiden claiming $50,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up

9 Nana Beach – It is something how Unusual Heat get improve on grass; dropping from MSW back to a price tag.

5 Last Sting – Tepid chalk showed some moxie in debut at Gulfstream; was 37/1 that day, gets Garrett Gomez and John Sadler here.

5 Houston Harbor – Tries turf for the first time for trainer Steve Asmussen; good second behind The Factor in last.

Race 6 – 6 furlongs, Purse $30,000, Claiming $25,000, Fillies and mares, 4-year-olds and up

6 All the Love – Both her dirt races are a big improvement; she struggled to get anything done over synthetics.

2 Onefunsonofagun – Been away 8 months since a good second in first race off the claim by Doug O’Neill.

Long Shot – 5 Miss Peanut

Race 7 – 1 mile (turf, rail at 15 feet), Purse $63,000, Optional claiming $80,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up

2 Talktoomuch – Has won 3-of-5 starts, all on turf, since claimed by Mike Mitchell; very useful sort loves the grass.

6 Startjumpin Marnie – Upset the choice in the Super Bowl Party; Jerry Hollendorfer risks here for $80k, useful broodmare prospect.

Long Shot – 3 Calle Vista

Race 8 – 6 furlongs, Purse $19,000, Maiden claiming $20,000, Fillies and mares, 4-year-olds and up

1 Annie Lou – Is the only starter to show any ability at all; chased 2 next-out winners in Lutess and Miss Addy Kiss.

3 Bayona – In a race this slow, you must look at the FTS; shows some good works, Eric Guillot knows how to win in debut.
