Tickets go on sale Saturday for NBA Summer League in Las Vegas

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Thomas & Mack Center box office and online at unlvtickets.com for the 2013 NBA Summer League, which will be held July 12-22 at the Thomas & Mack and Cox Pavilion.

Twenty-two teams are scheduled to compete, down from 24 a year ago as the Boston Celtics and Houston Rockets chose not to participate. Both the Los Angeles Lakers and Clippers will field a team in Las Vegas as will Atlanta, Charlotte, Chicago, Cleveland, Dallas, Denver, Golden State, Memphis, Miami, Milwaukee, Minnesota, New Orleans, New York, Phoenix, Portland, Sacramento, San Antonio, Toronto and Washington. The NBA’s D-League Select team will also participate.

Under the new format, each team will play three games over the first five days. On July 17, alll 22 teams will participate in a single-elimination tournament with the surviving two teams meeting in the championship game on July 22.

Ticket prices for each daily session are $25 for adults and $15 for children. For the July 22 championship game, prices will be $20 and $10 for children.
