NBA Summer League to return to Las Vegas in mid-July
The NBA will return to Las Vegas in July, with summer league action taking place over a span of 10 days, the league announced the event’s Twitter page.
From July 8-18, the Thomas & Mack Center and Cox Pavilion will host NBA Summer League games, which will feature a range of unsigned free agents and younger players, typically in their recently drafted rookies or second-season pros.
Summer league games have been played in Las Vegas since 2004, and last year, 24 teams competed in the league — 23 NBA teams and the NBA D-League Select team — with the San Antonio Spurs winning the championship.
