Mountain Ridge loses 15-0 at Little League Baseball West Regional
Mountain Ridge suffered a 15-0 defeat to Eastlake of Chula Vista, Calif., on Sunday at the Little League Baseball West Regional in San Bernardino, Calif.
Eastlake exploded for 10 runs in the first three innings to take a 10-0 lead. A five-run fourth led to the game being called after four innings due to the mercy rule.
Mountain Ridge, which won its pool-play opener 11-1, was held to two hits. Mountain Ridge will play Central East Maui of Hawaii at 5 p.m. today.
