Las Vegas starter Tyler Pill (2-3) held El Paso (26-30) to one run on four hits and three walks and struck out four in six innings.

Johnny Monell hit a go-ahead two-run double in the fifth and totaled three RBIs. Matt Reynolds had a double and a single and scored twice. Wilfredo Tovar hit the second pitch from Chihuahuas starter Zack Segovia (1-2) for his third home run of the season.

Segovia gave up three runs on five hits and four walks and struck out one in 4 1/3 innings as El Paso lost its fourth straight.
