Pedestrian dies after being stuck by car in southeast Las Vegas
A man died Wednesday night after being struck by a vehicle while crossing the street in the southeast valley.
The 53-year-old man was crossing Lamb Boulevard outside of a crosswalk near Desert Inn Road about 8:15 p.m. when he was struck by a 1994 Toyota Camry.
The man was taken to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
The name of the deceased, as well as cause and manner of death, will be released by the Clark County coroner’s office once the next of kin has been notified.
This was the 106th traffic-related fatality in the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department’s jurisdiction for the year 2013. The collision remains under investigation.
