North Las Vegas two-day festival to kick off Friday

North Las Vegas’s annual Tastes and Tunes Festival kicks off Friday evening in front of City Hall at 2200 Civic Center Drive.

The two-day, Cinco de Mayo-themed event includes a Mexican Village, live musical performances, USA Boxing-sanctioned bouts and a carnival.

The free festival goes from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday.
