Recalling Liz Taylor’s Las Vegas wedding
Las Vegas attorney Gary Logan didn’t exactly attend Elizabeth Taylor’s Las Vegas wedding to Eddie Fisher. He watched her come out of Temple Beth Shalom afterward.
"I remember she was wearing a dark, kelly green dress and she was ravishing," he said Friday, two days after her death.
It was 1959 and Logan was a junior at Gorman High School. He’d read about the wedding in the newspaper and he and a friend walked over after school to see her.
He had just seen her multiple Academy Award-nominated movie "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof."
Logan got a close look at the bride and thought,"My god, she is as beautiful in person as she was in ‘Cat on a Hot Tin Roof.’ "
