Clark County Constable confusion
Apparently the folks over at Clark County can’t tell the difference between Las Vegas Justice of the Peace Joe Bonaventure and his cousin, newly sworn in Constable John Bonaventura. Presumably that’s the reason why under the list of officials on the new and improved county web site, at least as of late Monday, the picture claiming to be the constable is actually the judge.
Maybe it’s a sign that the constable is not terribly memorable.
Of course, most folks don’t know the difference between Joe Bonaventure the JP and Joe Bonaventure the retired District Court judge of Binion trial fame.
Anyway, the guy in these photos is the JP.
