At least we aren’t issuing IOUs: Other states make Nevada look good by comparison
We love to rip the Nevada Legislature for what it doesn’t do, but at least our folks met the deadline to approve a budget.
Indiana scraped by by passing a budget Tuesday night, but as of Wednesday morning, five other states don’t have a budget! California, Arizona, Mississippi, North Carolina and Pennsylvania all failed to reach budget agreements for the 2010 fiscal year.
Makes our folks look stellar. At least we’re not looking at issuing IOUs to keep the state going, like California. Nothing like being cheered by the misery of others!
