Those who saw Clint Holmes do his nightclub act may feel like they already know him. But it turns out the autobiographical elements of that show were just part of the story.

“Just Another Man” offers more of it, in a more complex and dramatic fashion. An intriguing look at race and parenthood, the original musical is Holmes’ effort to reach Broadway or London’s West End.

Performances continue through Sunday in UNLV’s Judy Bayley Theatre, 4505 S. Maryland Parkway.
