About 30 Nevada National Guard soldiers in the 72nd Military Police Company participate in a deployment ceremony Monday, Sept. 15, 2014, at the Orleans. They will train first at a New Jersey military base before heading to Afghanistan to provide security and transportation for high-ranking NATO and International Security Assistance Force officials. In May, they will be replaced another platoon of 30 soldiers from the 72nd MP Company.
