Las Vegas police to conduct DUI checkpoint on St. Patrick’s Day
Las Vegas police announced Thursday morning they will conduct a DUI checkpoint on St. Patrick’s Day on the east side of the Las Vegas Valley.
Metro’s traffic bureau will team with officers from the east area commands Monday from 4 p.m. to 1 a.m. to identify drug- and alcohol-impaired drivers.
The checkpoint area in east Las Vegas is a hot spot for accidents and impaired drivers in the past, police said.
