$10,000 REWARD

Family seeking missing woman

The family of a 23-year-old Canadian woman who came to Las Vegas in May 2005 and became a prostitute is offering a $10,000 reward for information about her whereabouts.

Jessie Foster, 23, was last seen on March 28, 2006. Her last known address was 1009 Cornerstone Place, North Las Vegas.

Foster was described as 5-feet, 6-inches tall and weighing about 110 pounds with long blonde hair.

A Web site the family set up at www.findjessiefoster.com says Foster was living with her former boyfriend at the North Las Vegas home.

She was convicted of prostitution in 2005 and faced four more prostitution-related charges in September 2006, the Web site stated.

Anyone with information can call the North Las Vegas Police department at 633-9111 or Crime Stoppers at 385-5555.

VICTIM WAR VETERAN

Police officer in fatal shooting identified

The Las Vegas police officer who shot and killed an armed robbery suspect Wednesday was identified as Sgt. Sara Bradshaw, 38, who has been with the department since entering the academy in August 1995.

Bradshaw and two other officers were responding to a call saying a man with a gun was at the Terrible Herbst store at Flamingo and Lindell roads when they encountered 24-year-old Ronald Neal Joseph Jr.

An Iraq war veteran with a criminal record in Louisiana and Texas, Joseph was armed with a .45 caliber handgun and moved toward Bradshaw, police said.

Bradshaw fired three shots, one of which fatally wounded Joseph. He died a few hours later at University Medical Center.

Bradshaw is on paid administrative leave pending the outcome of the shooting investigation.
