CSN unveils renovations
The College of Southern Nevada has renovated 26,000 square feet and added another 5,000 square feet to the oldest building on its Charleston campus.
The Claude I. Howard Health Sciences Center was opened in 1988 and is named after the philanthropist whose contributions helped create the campus near Charleston and Rainbow boulevards.
The project, which cost $10 million, brought new, modern equipment that will be used in physical therapy, radiation therapy and ophthalmic assistant programs. Some other reservations were made to the veterinary tech area, also.
“These new classrooms and labs will enhance the learning experience for our students at CSN,” said college president Michael Richards in a statement.
