After a week of temperatures cooler than normal, things will start to heat up again by the end of the weekend in Las Vegas.
Friday’s high will reach to 93 degrees as the valley starts to dry out, National Weather Service meteorologist Caleb Steele said. The low is expected to be 77 degrees.
Some clouds may stick around, but if any showers are to occur, they’re likely to be on Mount Charleston, Steele said.
The afternoons will be breezy and the valley will gradually start to warm up to its near-normal temperatures of 104 to 105 degrees, he said.
Saturday’s high should be 98 degrees with a low of 78. Sunday should reach 100 degrees with nightly temperatures dipping into the low 80s.
