Valley temperatures dip into double digits
After three months of blistering heat in the Las Vegas Valley, temperatures seem to be mellowing out, the National Weather Service said.
Tuesday’s high reached 99 degrees, meteorologist Chris Outler said. It was the first day of sub-100 temperatures since Aug. 26
Similar highs of 99 degrees are predicted for Wednesday, Outler said. Thursday’s high will drop to 98 degrees and temperatures will cool “to the mid 90s” for Friday and the weekend.
