Hang on to your hats, Las Vegas. It’s going to be a windy Tuesday.

Gusts could reach as high as 47 mph, according to the National Weather Service. A wind advisory is set for 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. Tuesday.

Clark County’s Department of Air Quality sent a notice for valley dust control permit holders, contractors and stationary sources Monday. The department is asking businesses to inspect their sites and stabilize loose soil.

Project operators should not load blasting materials or perform any blasting operations if gusts are approaching 25 mph.

Temperatures should still be spring-like Tuesday, with a forecast high of 84 degrees and a low of 57.

Wednesday will be cooler, with predicted highs in the low 70s.
