Dry and breezy into the weekend in Las Vegas Valley

The Las Vegas Valley will dry up and skies will stay mostly clear through the weekend, according to the National Weather Service.

“It’s been a very humid summer, and it’s gonna feel a little more desert-y,” meteorologist Clay Morgan said.

Afternoon breezes are likely through Tuesday, with a chance Monday for winds to reach 30 mph, he said.

Friday’s high should reach 102 degrees, with a morning low of 83, the weather service said.

Saturday and Sunday’s respective forecasts have highs of 103 and 102, with morning lows of 80 and 81.

The weather service said temperatures could fall at the start of next week, with a high of 101 forecast for Monday and 97 for Tuesday.

Temperatures this time of year typically reach 101, the weather service said.
