Nevada Department of Transportation tests a new Active Traffic Management sign on southbound U.S. Highway 95 near Valley View Boulevard approaching the Spaghetti Bowl in Las Vegas Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2018. The first six full-color digital signs will go online Tuesday. By the end of 2019, 42 of these new Active Traffic Management signs will deliver real-time information with help from sensors lining the freeway, capable of detecting heavy congestion, car crashes, bad weather and other conditions.
