Police seeking man who robbed armored truck outside bank
Police are looking for a man who robbed an armored truck outside of a bank Wednesday morning.
At 11:17, police responded to a call of a robbery in the 1700 block of North Decatur Boulevard, north of the intersection with Vegas Drive, Metro said.
The suspect, described as a black man, fled the scene before officers could arrive, Metropolitan Police Department spokeswoman Laura Meltzer said.
The man was armed with a handgun, but no shots were fired. The armored truck’s driver was not injured, Meltzer said.
