Woman dies in traffic accident in south valley
A woman died Sunday afternoon after the car she was traveling in collided with a pickup truck in the south valley, Las Vegas police said.
Her identity was not released.
Lt. Ted Snodgrass said the collision happened shortly after 3 p.m. near Eastern and Serene avenues. Snodgrass said the woman was in a Nissan Maxima when it and a Dodge pickup crashed. Snodgrass didn’t know whether the woman was driving the Maxima or what caused the crash.
He said the woman was transported to University Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead.
