Vehicle hits, kills woman in Wal-Mart parking lot
A 69-year-old woman died after being run over by a car in a southeast valley Wal-Mart parking lot on Friday afternoon, according to Las Vegas police.
Officers were called to the Wal-Mart at 6005 S.Eastern Ave., near Russell Road, about 3:30 p.m. A woman was struck by a 2014 Hyundai Elantra driven by a 54-year-old woman, police said.
The woman died at Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center. Her identity will be released by the Clark County coroner’s office, police said.
The death was being investigated by Metro’s fatal detail.
