Vehicle fire blocked traffic on U.S. Highway 95 North near Charleston
A vehicle fire on U.S. Highway 95 blocked the right lanes and backed up traffic Friday evening, according to the Regional Transportation Commission.
Clark County firefighters and Nevada Highway Patrol responded to the fire on northbound U.S. 95, near Charleston Boulevard, about 6:15 p.m., according to the agencies’ traffic websites.
The car that had been on fire was blocking the right two lanes of traffic about 6:30 p.m., according to traffic cameras.
All lanes were reopened By 7:30 p.m.
It was not immediately clear if injuries were sustained in the fire.
