Project to close Kyle Canyon Road Tuesday
Part of Kyle Canyon Road will be closed Tuesday between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. so that a wide, load-hauling bulldozer can transport materials for the Flood Diversion Berm Project.
The road will be closed between U.S. Highway 95 and the turnoff to Rainbow Canyon Boulevard so that crews can begin construction on a temporary berm and a diversion channel. The channel will redirect rain and debris behind homes in the Rainbow subdivision.
Motorists traveling to Mount Charleston should use Lee Canyon Road as an alternate route and expect delays.
