Police seek victims linked to sexual assault suspect

Las Vegas police are looking for more victims linked to a man they believe sexually assaulted a child he took care of before school during the 2012-13 school year.

Metro investigations showed that Francisco Vivar-Galvez, 69, took care of the child before school in the Pinewood Apartments complex at 3600 Swenson St., near Twain Avenue.

Vivar-Galvez was arrested Dec. 8 and is being held at the Clark County Detention Center without bail. He faces six counts of sexual assault against a child under 14 and eight counts of lewdness with a child under 14. He is scheduled to appear in court Dec. 26.

The investigation also revealed that Vivar-Galvez may have cared for several other children in the complex.
