One dead, one hurt in all-terran vehicle incident
An apparent accident involving an all-terrain vehicle left one person dead and another injured Monday night, Las Vegas police said.
The identity of the deceased was not released. The survivor was airlifted to University Medical Center.
Lt. Glen Lowe said police were alerted to the incident about 8 p.m.
It happened in the desert near Lake Mead Boulevard and North Shore Road, in eastern Clark County.
The department’s Traffic Bureau is investigating.
