No injuries as small plane lands on North Las Vegas street
A small plane with three passengers made an emergency landing near Jones Boulevard and Cheyenne Avenue when the pilot ran low on fuel about 1:30 p.m. Friday, according to the Federal Aviation Administration.
No one was injured, said FAA spokesman Ian Gregor. The plane was not damaged.
It landed about a mile from the runways at North Las Vegas Airport.
Records show the plane, a single-engine Piper Cherokee PA-28-180, is registered to Brian Owen of Reno. John Burruel, who is also listed as an owner on the FAA website, was piloting the plane, according to KLAS-TV, Channel 8.
The FAA is investigating.
