Morning fire causes significant damage to custom home
A blaze at a custom home Thursday morning near Pecos and Warm Springs road caused $1.2 million in damage, the Henderson Fire Department said.
Deputy Fire Chief Steve Goble said firefighters were alerted to the fire at 10:17 a.m. at 55 Quail Run Road.
Firefighters had to evacuate the home and battle the flames from the outside after 25 minutes because the fire spread quickly from the attic.
One firefighter suffered a minor injury, fire department officials said. The nature of the injury was not specified.
The cause of the fire was electrical.
