Marijuana grow houses sprouting in Las Vegas Valley

Grow houses are cropping up in record numbers and bringing with them unwanted criminal activity. Chris Jones, captain of the Metropolitan Police Department’s Northwest Area Command, 9850 W. Cheyenne Ave., said they are infiltrating suburbia. Grow houses refer to houses or other locations in rural, urban and residential areas that are converted for the purposes of growing marijuana.
