Man’s body found in Lake Mead
A man’s body was discovered floating in Lake Mead on Thursday evening, an official with the National Park Service said.
Andrew Munoz, said that a park visitor found the body about 7:10 p.m.
The identity of the dead man was not released.
The body was floating near Callville Bay, Munoz said.
Munoz said the initial investigation is being handled by the National Park Service and the Clark County coroner’s office.
There were no signs of foul play, but Munoz said that, as of 9 p.m., the body had not been taken out of the water.
