Man riding a scooter is in critical condition after collision
A man is in critical condition after he was hit while riding his scooter in the early hours of Saturday morning near Rainbow Boulevard and Alta Drive.
The victim, a 24-year-old Henderson man, was struck by what police have called a 2005 black Ford sedan around 2:42 a.m. while stopped at the inersection of Rainbow Boulevard and Alta Drive on his 2012 black Yamaha Scooter.
The driver of the Scooter was then side-swiped by the Ford sedan while the Ford was traveling northbound on Rainbow Boulevard.
He was then ejected from the scooter while the driver of the sedan fled the scene.
The driver of the scooter was taken to UMC Trauma in critical condition.
