House fire kills five cats, causes $150,000 in damage
An early morning Henderson fire Tuesday caused about $150,000 in damage and killed five cats.
Henderson firefighters responded to the house fire near Grand Hills Drive and Eastern Avenue about 4 a.m.
Five people were home at the time of the fire, including two children. They were not injured, but five cats were killed.
A fire investigator determined the fire was caused by an exhaust fan in the laundry room. The blaze was ruled an accident.
