GUEST SPEAKERS, WORKSHOPS PLANNED DURING SATURDAY WOMEN’S DAY EVENT

The West Las Vegas Arts Center, 947 W. Lake Mead Blvd., plans to host a free Women’s Day celebration from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday under the theme of Finding Our Balance In Mind, Body & Spirit … Sustaining Harmony.

Guest speakers and workshops will be offered to attendees 15 or older.

SPRING BREAK CAMPS PLANNED

The city of Las Vegas plans to offer youth spring break camps from Monday through April 6 at two downtown-area facilities for children ages 6 to 11.

The municipal pool, 431 E. Bonanza Road, plans to host a camp from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. for $100 per child, with scholarships available to qualified applicants.

The Doolittle Community Center, 1950 N. J St., is slated to host a camp from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. for $75 per child and $70 for each additional child.

BRUSH UP ON YOUR BUDGET SKILLS at class

The Clark County Library, 1401 E. Flamingo Road, is slated to host a Money Smarts: Budget 101 class at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the large conference room.

The event is co-sponsored by Consumer Credit Counseling Service and is designed to teach attendees how to organize personal budgets.

NATURALIST CLASSES TO COVER ECOLOGY, PLANTS, ANIMALS AND GEOLOGY

The University of Nevada Cooperative Extension, 8050 Paradise Road, is slated to host a Nevada Naturalist program beginning Monday for the spring semester session.

The session is $125 and includes classes on ecology, plants, animals, geology.

NEW CLINIC SERVES SENIORS
