Anabel Castaneda has been named to the dean’s list for the fall 2011 semester at Saint Mary’s College in Notre Dame, Ind.
Castaneda is the daughter of Jose Castaneda of North Las Vegas and Martha Castaneda of Oak Park, Ill.
Ameena Ahmed of Henderson has been named to the dean’s list for the fall 2011 semester at Whittier College in Whittier, Calif.
Tamara Skoric of Henderson has been named to the dean’s list for the fall 2011 semester at Whittier College in Whittier, Calif.
Vishnu Halthore, Jacques Lamothe and Adelaide Lopez have been named to the dean’s list for the fall 2011 semester at Washington University in St. Louis.
All three are graduates of The Meadows School. They are enrolled in the university’s College of Arts & Sciences.
Alexandria Basile of Las Vegas has been named to the dean’s list for the fall 2011 semester at Loyola University Maryland.
Jorgina Arballo of Las Vegas has been named to the dean’s list at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles for the fall 2011 semester.
Sandra Rodriguez of Las Vegas is returning to Army Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J., after serving in Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Rodriguez is a cable systems installer and maintainer with the 422nd Expeditionary Signal Battalion, Las Vegas.
Timothy Anderson is returning to Army Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J., after serving in Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Anderson is the son of Denise Zamora of Las Vegas and Gary Anderson of Torrance, Calif.
Erik Garcia of Las Vegas is returning to Army Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J., after serving in Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Garcia is a telecommunications operations chief with the 422nd Expeditionary Signal Battalion, Las Vegas. He has served in the military for 14 years.
Paul Ebiya has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio. A 2011 graduate of Rancho High School, Ebiya is the brother of Sarah Ebiya of Las Vegas.
Shaari Roland of Henderson is returning to Army Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J., after serving in Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Roland is an information technology specialist with the 422nd Expeditionary Signal Battalion, Las Vegas.
She has served in the military for six years.
Aubrey Clark has graduated from Army basic combat training at Fort Sill in Lawton, Okla. Clark, a 2010 graduate of Durango High School, is the son of Donice Cox of Las Vegas.
Randall Webb has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio.
A 2011 graduate of Foothill High School in Henderson, he is the son of Gail Forsyth of Henderson and Daniel Webb of Las Vegas.
Thomas Jenkins has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio.
A 2004 graduate of Centennial High School, Jenkins earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2010.
He is the son of Cheryl Tellerino of Thousand Oaks, Calif., and brother of Mandi Tellerino of Phoenix.
Giovanni Rivera has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio.
Rivera is the son of Carlos Rivera of Clarksville, Tenn., and Ilona Rivera of Las Vegas.
