Cory Mason, 23, has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio.

He is a 2011 graduate of the Reinforcing Ironworkers Apprenticeship program and a 2006 graduate of Centennial High School. Mason is the son of Don and Brenda Mason and brother of Chad Mason, all of Las Vegas.

Kevin Noorda has achieved Eagle Scout status in the Boy Scouts of America.

A member of Troop 281, Noorda helped fill 54 emergency backpacks for Antonello Elementary School for his Eagle project.

Noorda enjoys football, volleyball, soccer, tennis, guitar, camping and swimming in his free time. Noorda is the son of J. Cal and Debbie Noorda of Las Vegas.

Keith Noorda has achieved Eagle Scout status in the Boy Scouts of America.

A member of Troop 281, Noorda collected donations of paper products for the Blind Center of Nevada, supplying them with three months of goods.

Noorda enjoys volleyball, tennis, soccer, guitar, camping, reading and swimming in his free time. He is the son of J. Cal and Debbie Noorda of Las Vegas.

Dallin Busby has achieved Eagle Scout status in the Boy Scouts of America.

A member of Troop 543, Busby helped assemble and ship 500 dental kits to Guatemala for his Eagle project.

Busby enjoys basketball, being with family and playing guitar in his free time. He is the son of Jerry and Karla Busby of Las Vegas.

Jhou Ortiz has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio. A 2010 graduate of Las Vegas High School, Ortiz is the son of Ana Lopez of Las Vegas.

Jake Mollers has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio. A 2009 graduate of Liberty High School in Henderson, Mollers is the son of Staci Lindberg of Las Vegas and Shane Mollers of Rosemount, Minn.

Terrance Snyder has graduated from U.S. Army basic infantry training at Fort Benning in Columbus, Ga. A 2010 graduate of Shadow Ridge High School, Snyder is the son of Julie Harper and Tyler Snyder of Las Vegas.

Madison Martinet of Las Vegas has been named to the dean’s list for the fall 2011 semester at Whittier College in Whittier, Calif.
