At this Guatemalan/Mexican/Salvadoran restaurant, the house specialty is rib-eye steak, ribs, sausage, stuffed bell peppers, refried beans, sour cream, cheese, rice, Russian salad, fried plantains and onions. Now that’s a meal. Other entrees include chile relleno, beef tongue with tomato sauce, shrimp rancheros, marinated pork with black beans and rice, tropical tilapia, seafood bowls and marquense, a Guatemalan dish with rib-eye steak, garlic shrimp, fries, salad, avocado and beans. Other selections are shrimp tostadas, menudo, assorted pupusas, tacos, shrimp ceviche, stewed chicken and green chili beef. Several appetizers are tamales, bean tostada, Guatemalan enchiladas and longanizas con tortilla y frijoles (sausage, corn tortillas, beans). Breakfast is served throughout the day and includes huevos rancheros, huevos a la Mexicana and The Chapin Breakfast: eggs, fried plantains, cheese, sour cream, sausage and refried beans. Among the sides are papitas (fries), bell pepper with beef or cheese and guacamole. Chicken wings and nuggets with fries are available for children. Entrees start at $9.99. Breakfast begins at $4.99.
