The Silverton, 3333 Blue Diamond Road, is offering late-night specials in the Sundance Grill from midnight to 5 a.m.
Specials include biscuits and gravy for 99 cents, all-you-can-eat pancakes for $4.99 and the Wild Card Special, two farm-fresh eggs, two strips of bacon or sausage, hash browns and toast and jelly for $3.99.
The Sundance Grill also is offering a buy-one-get-one-free special for items of equal or lesser value through July for guests with a Silverton Rewards card who mention the promotion to the restaurant cashier. This special is available 24 hours a day through Thursday.
Mi Casa Grill Cantina is offering a happy hour from 4 to 7 p.m. daily all summer. Specials include $2 beers, 50 percent off tequila shots and $3 Mi Casa margaritas.
Via Brasil wine dinner to support American heart association
Via Brasil Steakhouse, 1225 S. Fort Apache Road, is scheduled to host a wine dinner in support of the American Heart Association from 5 p.m. to closing Thursday.

Food trucks to rally for cancer care
The second Food Truck Roundup is planned from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday at the Nevada Cancer Institute’s Summerlin campus, 1 Breakthrough Way, near Town Center Drive and the Las Vegas Beltway.
Ben’s BBQ and Smokehouse, Slidin’ Thru, Grouchy John’s Coffee and SnOw OnO Shave Ice are among the trucks set to participate. A portion of the day’s proceeds will benefit the institute.
The Cheesecake factory to celebrate National Cheesecake Day
The Cheesecake Factory plans to celebrate National Cheesecake Day on Saturday by introducing a new cheesecake flavor and offering any cheesecake slice for half price to dine-in guests.
The half-price offer includes any of the restaurant’s 30 cheesecake flavors, such as the new Hershey’s Chocolate Bar Cheesecake. It features silky smooth Hershey’s Chocolate Cheesecake between layers of moist chocolate cake and ganache, finished with creamy chocolate frosting and chocolate chips.

Las Vegas Restaurant Week is scheduled to raise funds for Three Square food bank at restaurants across the valley Aug. 29 through Sept. 11.
In honor of the event’s fifth anniversary, this year’s Restaurant Week has been extended to two weeks. Participating restaurants will offer unique three-course menus for a fixed price. A portion of each will go to Three Square to help fight hunger in Southern Nevada.

Bernard’s Bistro to serve two classes of menus for R.M.S. Titanic dinner
Bernard’s Bistro, 15 Via Bel Canto in MonteLago Village at Lake Las Vegas, will offer its R.M.S. Titanic dinner at 7 p.m. Thursday.
Two classes of menus are available, along with à la carte options. The First Class menu has five courses for $65 per guest, and the Second Class menu has three courses for $45 per guest.

Flamingo Las Vegas to bring Carlos’n Charlie’s to West Coast
Flamingo Las Vegas, 3555 Las Vegas Blvd. South, plans to open the first West Coast location of Carlos’n Charlie’s this winter.
The Mexican eatery will be adjacent to the Race & Sports Book and will span more than 8,000 square feet, serving lunch and dinner nightly. The dining room will have seating for 150, and an outdoor terrace will overlook the pool and gardens.
Bar+Bistro to host tequila pairing dinner
Bar+Bistro at the Arts Factory, 107 E. Charleston Blvd., No. 155, plans to host a Davalos Tequila pairing dinner at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 3.
The first course will be country-style carpaccio scallops tepache, which is Laughing Bird Lantern scallops, sofrito, pequillo peppers and pineapple-infused Davalos, paired with Davalos Añejo. The second course will be roasted beet salad, paired with Davalos Blanco. The third course will be Kobe flat iron steak with honey chimichurri tequila sauce, parsnip mashed potatoes and roasted tomatillos, paired with Davalos Añejo. The fourth course will be Davalos Tequila flamed smores, made with homemade marshmallow and graham cracker crust with chocolate ganache cake, paired with Davalos Añejo.
